words of wisdom for others on their journey:

- Healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about becoming yourself without shame or fear.

- It’s messy, nonlinear, and often feels like grief before it feels like freedom. You’ll revisit the same wounds with deeper awareness, not because you're failing, but because you're ready to hold them with more compassion this time.

- Don’t measure progress by how “good” you feel—measure it by how honest you can be with yourself, how gently you respond to your pain, and how brave you are in choosing new patterns even when the old ones still whisper comfort.

- The goal isn’t to never hurt again. It’s to know that when you do, you won’t abandon yourself.

about alinne

One of my life’s greatest joys is being welcomed into a person’s journey of healing and recovery—I find it’s when we are our most humane and powerful. I am a trauma-informed and antiracist therapist by trade, and utilize my therapeutic practice to help the people I work with reclaim their stories, find their resiliency, and dismantle harmful ideologies by addressing generational trauma and the narratives that come with that.

I am a direct, compassionate, funny, and empowering therapist/person, who is not afraid to call out the damaging beliefs and patterns I see come up in my relationships (in and out of sessions). I’m big on helping people unlearn negative beliefs, while helping them learn to take up the space they deserve. Everyday I hold space for the messy, beautiful, and complex process of healing, and it truly makes me the best version of myself.

I’m driven by the belief that we all deserve to reclaim our stories and move forward with a more aligned, healthy, and kind narrative about ourself. My goal is to help others feel seen, heard, and empowered. To do this best by advocating against systemic racism, challenging the colonized mind, and being my authentic self.
