Volunteer + Join our Team
Healing happens in community.
The Healing & CPTSD Community is built by survivors, for survivors. Every event, conversation, resource, and connection is made possible because people who care choose to give their time, skills, and lived experience to help others feel less alone.
Whether you have a few hours each month or are looking for a larger leadership role, there are many ways to get involved.
We believe volunteers should contribute in ways that feel sustainable. Healing comes first, and we encourage our volunteers to choose roles that fit their current capacity.
Explore our current opportunities below.
Peer Support Team Member
Help create a welcoming and supportive community.
Our Peer Support Team serves as the heart of our community. Team members help welcome new members, respond to posts, model trauma-informed communication, and help foster a space where survivors feel seen, heard, and supported.
This is peer support, not therapy or crisis intervention. We are looking for individuals who are grounded in their own healing, communicate with empathy and healthy boundaries, and are committed to creating a compassionate environment for others.
You may be a good fit if you:
-
Enjoy connecting with others
-
Can communicate with compassion and boundaries
-
Are comfortable supporting peers without trying to "fix" them
-
Believe everyone deserves to feel like they belong

This role includes onboarding and training before facilitating events.
Current Support Circle Leader opening roles:

Host an Event
Share your knowledge, experience, or passion with the community.
We welcome trauma-informed workshops, educational presentations, creative experiences, discussions, movement classes, wellness sessions, book discussions, and other healing-centered events.
You don't have to be a therapist to host an event. Survivors, professionals, advocates, educators, artists, coaches, and community members all bring valuable perspectives.
If you have something that could benefit our community, we'd love to hear about it.
