about yelna
Yelna is a childhood trauma survivor, psychotherapist, and self-reparenting coach specializing in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). As an immigrant and multicultural individual, she spent years searching for home and belonging, ultimately learning to find home within herself. Through her own healing journey, she developed the skills to build community and connection wherever she is. This inspired her to create @to_mydearself, a space dedicated to guiding women, from trauma to self-love and a strong sense of self.

Support Circle Leader
As the leader of our Immigrant Support Circle, Yelna holds space for survivors navigating the layered experiences of trauma, displacement, and identity. She creates a culturally sensitive and affirming environment where immigrant community members can share their stories, honor their roots, and feel supported in the complexities of healing across borders. Yelna’s leadership helps foster connection, resilience, and a deep sense of belonging for those carrying both generational and lived migration trauma.
