location:
healing in Pennsylvania
favorite healing tool:
Connecting with nature, journaling, creative writing/rescripting, meditation along with the use of anchor statements, yoga and qi gong, hiking, various somatic techniques including EFT and tapping, and connection through healing circles.
words of wisdom for others on their journey:
You are good, pure, and lovable. You are worthy of healing and healing is possible. Keep searching for a therapist, mental health professional, life coach, whatever aligns with you, and that line of thinking.
You deserve healing, love, and connection because you exist, not because you have to earn it or prove anything. You are worthy of love and I believe you. Be tender toward yourself. Rest. Drink water. Eat nutritious food, and move your body. We’re here for you, together in this space.
about amanda
Danielle Carpio (aka Complex Dani) is a complex trauma survivor, cycle breaker, writer, speaker, and the heart behind the Healing & CPTSD Community. She created this space as a love letter to survivors—because healing doesn’t have to be lonely, clinical, or performative. Having lived through the mess, the grief, and the long road of rebuilding after trauma, Danielle leads from a place of raw truth, emotional grit, and radical compassion.

Her work blends education with embodiment, structure with softness, and community with autonomy. Danielle blends lived experience with trauma-informed leadership to create a space that’s as real as it is revolutionary—where survivors can breathe, be seen, and heal at their own pace. Whether she’s writing, tapping, or hosting a vision board night, her mission remains the same: to help trauma survivors feel less alone and more empowered on their own terms.
