about amrit
Amrit-Sadhana a certified trauma-informed nervous system coach, herbalist, and speaker. Her mission is rooted in cultivating safety within the self and fostering flexibility in the nervous system, enabling her clients to embrace a life of deeper connection and regulation. Through a somatic, body lead approach, she empowers others to navigate the complexities of their experiences with self-compassion and accountability.

She works through a decolonizing and anti-oppressive lens; recognizing and addressing the systemic oppressions that shape individual and collective trauma. Committed to liberation work, she advocates for dismantling oppressive structures and nurturing environments that honor diversity, equity, and inclusion.

With compassion and conviction, she inspires others to embark on their own journeys of healing from complex trauma and self-discovery, guiding them towards a future defined by authenticity, joy, community and liberation.
Her own cPTSD diagnosis led to her diving deeper into this work and help others through their journey. Her understanding that when you are “in it” you can feel alone and broken. Learning how to receive support and resources (and how to help yourself) will transform how you approach your journey. Giving you guidance to navigate through it and cultivate a stronger and more trusting relationship to your body and its queues. We are not taught to listen to our bodies, but when we are anxious or depressed, it is our body trying to communicate to us that it needs something. When you learn how to listen. When you learn to approach life from a body-led place, your relationship with everything changes.

Child Sexual Abuse
Support Circle Leader
Decolonization Support Circle Leader
National Day of Mourning Event Host
As the leader of our Child Sexual Abuse Support Circle, Amrit holds space with gentleness, strength, and deep empathy for survivors navigating some of the earliest and most complex layers of trauma. She helps create a space rooted in safety, validation, and shared understanding—where survivors can speak the unspeakable, be held in their truth, and connect in community with others who carry similar wounds.
Each year, Amrit leads our National Day of Mourning event—held in place of traditional Thanksgiving—to honor Indigenous resistance, acknowledge historical and ongoing trauma, and hold space for truth-telling and remembrance. With care and intention, Amrit helps create a space for collective reflection, ancestral honoring, and community solidarity as we come together to mourn, unlearn, and witness.
